“The Hilili Kachina is a vibrant, fast-dancing Hopi spirit, originating from Acoma or Laguna pueblos as Heleleka, that functions as a guardian figure in Powamu and night ceremonies. Known for its high-pitched call, it appears during planting ceremonies, often alongside Mudhead clowns, and is characterized by a rapid, energetic dance.”
