Very rare vintage woven basket that was originally purchased in 1998 from Natalie Linn who is well known as a basketry expert.
Basket is from Maidu that is in the Northern California, Sierra Nevada region.
Basket has beads swirling all around the basket.

Baskets need to be tightly knit that it can hold liquids.
Outer basket measures 3 1/4 inches in length and width and is 1 1/2 inches tall.
