Lovely vintage handcrafted redware pottery.
Artist is known for her use of red clay and either firing them in an open flame to preserve the red coloring of the clay or a “reduction” firing to turn the pottery black.
Pot measures 3 3/4 inches all around and 4 1/4 inches tall.
Signed on the bottom.
Original purchase information card will be provided stating that pot was originally sold at the famous Nedra Matteucci Gallery for $195 before ending up at Sun Country Traders.
