The Zia symbol to the Native American’s is the sacred number which is embodied in the earth with its four main directions; in the year with its four seasons; in the day, with sunrise, noon, evening and night; in life, with its four divisions – childhood, youth, adulthood and old age.
It is also the state symbol on the New Mexican flag.
14kt Gold overlay is in the center with oxidized silver sounding the overlay.
Pendant measures 2 1/4 inches long (includes bale) and 1 3/4 inches wide.
Bale has almost a 1/2 inch opening.
Stamped “.925 USA”, “HB”, “Sterling”, and “14kt” on the back of the pendant.
